| Conclusion | The Canon XHG1s has CCDs with excellent resolution in both brightness and in color.The dynamic behavior can be changed to outstanding values with knee, noise suppression and -3dB gain, which combined with the sober colors ensures a very clean image impression.Only the lens with its 20x zoom shows occasional distortion and chromatic aberrations.Partly due to much noise, the XH G1s is only "good" in low-light situations. | Currently (Feb. 2011) the best video DSLR alternative in terms of film look.Thanks to the big and light sensitive micro Four Thirds sensor, interchangeable lenses, ND filter, peaking, XLR audio, HD-SDI, HDMI-out, etc.the Panasonic AG-AF101 combines the advantages of conventional video camcorders and DSLRs.A very good choice for low-budget film-making. |
