Cons - setting focus manually is a little complicated

Conclusion Not only does Panasonic offer 50p, it also brings enough wide angle (which even isn´t affected by the active image stabilisation), good low-light performance and colors, great sharpness and lots of manual control.(only 2D mode)For the JVC speaks almost exclusively the lack of CMOS-rolling shutter and - in special cases - maybe the MPEG2 recording.It is a pity that JVC did not pursue innovations such as HDV on SD or professional usability as they did with the HD7.The fact that the HD5 even lacks a headphone jack adds to its shortcomings.
