Conclusion The effort to get excellent Full HD quality with a small sensor and a small lens packed into a small body proved too hard for other manufacturers too.The options for manual control are hard to use on the GZ-HM200 due to unergonomical menue obstacles.Whats true for all of these minis: if you dont need your cam to be so totally compact you get more picture quality for 100-200 bucks more.No focus ring, no manual controls, no viewfinder, no audio connections, and crippled manual values are inaccessibly hidden in colorful menus.Analog output is NTSC-only, and a new video format is used that is even worse to edit than AVCHD.The sharpness is achieved through extreme contourCompared to Sony, Panasonic and Canon the codec shows even more artifacts.
