Conclusion In terms of sharpness, the new camcorders are finally on par again with the generation preceeding its predecessors.The good low light performance and the - for many users - sufficient manual features certainly make the RF M-series interesting for price-sensitive buyers.However, has to live with the small wide-angle, a low-resolution display, missing features such as zebra or histogram as well as the automatics.In terms of sharpness the camera operates at the resolution limit and the available manual control should also be sufficient for many ambitious filmmakers.In addition there are nice innovations such as the short 4K-recording or the automatic recording.Unfortunately the low-light performance is not quite on par with the competition and the partially extreme factory color settings can´t be modified in manual mode.
