Conclusion

The XF100/105 is a compact workhorse that plays off its strength especially in the documentation and news area (less in a scenic environment).Here the camera concept feels quite well thought-through.The lack of a ND filter and the 1/3" chip are our main points of criticism, aside from slight difficulties in the handling, though these of course are partly due to the compact form.

Even as a 2D camcorder the Z10000 is absolutely competitive thanks to the professional features and excellent image quality.The additional 3D capabilities are currently unique in this price range (and even much further) (as of 11/2011).
