Pros + Sharpness and colour at the upper AVCHD limit

Cons - setting focus manually is a little complicated
- low resolution display
- No Zebra
- (Too) little external controls
Conclusion Costing 200 Euro less, the SD600 lacks a lot compared to the SD707 (viewfinder, lens ring, accessory shoe, mic and headphone jacks).Also the display is smaller and setting the focus manually is harder without a lens ring.But still, it is an interesting camera for those filming in automatic mode.In terms of sharpness, the new camcorders are finally on par again with the generation preceeding its predecessors.The good low light performance and the - for many users - sufficient manual features certainly make the RF M-series interesting for price-sensitive buyers.However, has to live with the small wide-angle, a low-resolution display, missing features such as zebra or histogram as well as the automatics.
