Conclusion Handlingwise no other mini-cam is up to par with the Panasonic SD10.Others functions like the distortionless lens or the optical image stabilizer are realised well.Apart from its somwhat low image sharpness we think this camera is well done for its price.The effort to get excellent Full HD quality with a small sensor and a small lens packed into a small body proved too hard for other manufacturers too.The options for manual control are hard to use on the GZ-HM200 due to unergonomical menue obstacles.Whats true for all of these minis: if you dont need your cam to be so totally compact you get more picture quality for 100-200 bucks more.
