Conclusion Compared with the older models of the same series the smaller sensor, the picture problems and the exaggerated sharpness offer no real advancementsAdd to that the bad low-light sensitivity with some bright pixel noise, the missing histogram and zebra-displays and the manual focus problems.On the positive side: the low price and the fact that the pictures in the automatic mode (assumed there is enough light) are sharp and generally good.In terms of sharpness the camera operates at the resolution limit and the available manual control should also be sufficient for many ambitious filmmakers.In addition there are nice innovations such as the short 4K-recording or the automatic recording.Unfortunately the low-light performance is not quite on par with the competition and the partially extreme factory color settings can´t be modified in manual mode.
