Conclusion Compared with the older models of the same series the smaller sensor, the picture problems and the exaggerated sharpness offer no real advancementsAdd to that the bad low-light sensitivity with some bright pixel noise, the missing histogram and zebra-displays and the manual focus problems.On the positive side: the low price and the fact that the pictures in the automatic mode (assumed there is enough light) are sharp and generally good.The camera shows few dark sides but also no highlights for this price range.The wide angle as well as the sharpness and low light performance are ok for this price.If the unsharp area at the right image border is a problem only of our particular test model and not af the whole series, the camera can be recommended to those who do not value any manual control options.
