| Conclusion | In terms of measured values the JVC GZ-HM335 is on par with all competitors in the 500 Euro range, and in lowlight situations it even outperforms Sonys Exmor-R sensors.Nevertheless, this camera has three shortcomings that should be taken into account.One of them is the operation which is really awkward and thus hardly encourages the use of the theoretically good manual control functions. The second is the lens without wide angle.Here Sony and Panasonic in particular show much more --definitely a strong argument (not only) in this price range.And thirdly, problematic are also the hot colors, but that of course is a matter of taste.Apart from that the HM335 doesn´t show any real weaknesses compared to its close competitors. | In our opinion the SD1 is the best AVCHD Cam by Panansonic, and it remains competitive in 2008 thanks to its wide-angle and lowlight characteristics . | The MiniDVD as a recording medium does not strike us as particularly useful for HD , so the similar model SD1 is much more interesting. | Conclusion |
