Cons
Conclusion As with the previous model of the Balanced Optical SteadyShot we like very much. Also find a general picture quality is true, but without full control over shutter speed and aperture is of practical use to look rather in the hobby and lifestyle.Balanced Optical SteadyShot paired with current video technology at the height of the time could be the Sony HDR-PJ780 quickly becomes the darling ambitious videographers.Sony would have unlocked a second time, the full manual control and the image characteristics of the camera.Conversely, those who anyway only in automatic mode at the PJ780 films should have a lot of fun.One can in many cases save a tripod and maybe there are here and there even a suitable use for the built-in projector. In manual operation Canon is ahead of all competitors in this price range: three assignable buttons (incl. small wheel) plus a lens ring make it a useful tool for ambitious videographers.A sharper viewfinder would have complemented nicely with this. The other camera features area matter of personal preferences. For example, the dual SD slot might be a must for some users, while marginally better picture quality can be found on competing models. The absence of 50/60p and clinging to the interlaced format some 7 years after the exit of television tubes does seem rather anachronistic for a 2013 flagship camcorder. Conclusion
