| Conclusion | With the PMW-350 you get an enormously light sensitive 2/3-inch camcorder for 20.000 Euro, but it is limited due to the 4:2:0 XDCAM EX sampling.This may be bypassed with a Nano flash recorder and in this combination, the PMW-350 suddenly is the cheapest 2/3-inch 4:2:2 HD-Cam on the market.In any case a professional shoulder camcorder whose operation leaves little to be desired. | Almost everything that was criticized on the EX1 (mainly concerning the switches/buttons and ergonomics) has been addressed and improved.In its current form, it definitely still plays in the top league in terms of low light performance, handling and functionality, and with its 1/2-inch chip it is one of the "bigger" small ones. | Thanks to its very good lens with digital CAC and outstanding low-light capabilities the Sony PMW-EX3 is momentarily unrivaled in the price range up to 10.000 Euros.Of course, those who can do without the interchangeable lens can go for the cheaper and somewhat more compact EX1. | Conclusion |
